I just want Palmieri to stay

I think the 1sts and Addison are off the table. I’m not sold the Wild are buyers, but the recent injury to Zuccarello could change that. McBain is a sure thing but I’m not sure if they’d want to part with a 2nd.

To be honest, I'm not buying Palms to Wild either.
They had never been on radar, as far as I know, until last day or so.
And Palmieri has basically been on the block since last years deadline.

I'd love Addison, but if Wild may lose a d-man through expansion process, I figured he would be off table.
Any other young d-man worth looking at?

I think they’d be willing to move Menell for the right price. My assumption is that if Palms comes in, he’s signing for at least next year and that means a Greenway and Dumba deal also needs to be in the works.

I also can not find any mention of Palms to MIN anywhere other than here so IDK what to think. Especially when him going to the Isles just makes soooooo much sense.

I think they'll acquire a player, but someone for depth that doesn't cost much (a 5th or a 6th maybe), sorta like them acquiring Brad Hunt a few years back. I really can't see anyone giving up the equivalent of Addison and a 1st for a rental this year. Then again, every year some GM makes me wonder why they're paid what they're paid to do this by spending way too much for a 1st round exit so who knows.
