I don't know Blade Jenkins all that well, but looking at his OHL scoring suggests he's not nearly high enough quality to make up for shortchanging us on the pick.

Foligno is worth at most a 2nd plus a low end pick/prospect. Blade Jennkins and a 3rd is not a bad offer. I bet he gets moved for a lone 2nd round pick.

Foligno is worth

Stop right there. We're not in a hurry to move him, so he's worth what we would accept and no less. And the price we've heard from reporters is up there with Savard - late 1st and B prospect. If you want to quibble, ask about one of our less in-demand UFAs like Riley Nash or something.

Lmfao. Okay bud whatever you say. I just hope you don’t get too upset next week when he brings in no where near that. Or even better if you keep him to go nowhere this season and lose him for nothing.

Thank you for unambiguously demonstrating that you don't know a damned thing about Foligno's situation here. Makes any decision as to whether to continue this conversation that much easier. Have a nice day!

Players want to win. That is not happening in CBJ for a long time. Bottom line.

also just objectively makes sense to get an asset or two for him. if he loves it there so much he can always go back

That's why there's any discussion of him being moved at all. That doesn't mean he's going to be moved for an obscure third-string prospect and a mid-to-late 3rd in 2022.
