Columbus says "Thank you, come again!"

In all honesty, I don't think Tampa should be making any trades unless they fleece another team or if they start losing IMO.

I don't think the CBJ trade makes TBL any better, probably worse if anything.

Cernak has been injured on and off all year and Rutta is week-to-week. I'm not feeling comfortable with a Foote, Schenn, Thomas RD lineup. I'm willing to pay the price to win the Savard sweepstakes at this point. Glendening would be more of a luxury than necessity.

I honestly think Holland trades a 3rd to get LGD.

Having a big stay at home defensemen to pair with Hedman worked really well with Bogosian last season. He could probably also pair with Sergachev instead if Foote proves to have a playoff learning curve. Cernak has missed games multiple times too, so we could really use the depth.

I'm pretty confident with our center situation. Colton, Stephens, and Johnson can all win >50% of their draws, but Cooper thinks highly of LGD, so I included him here. I think he was winning 80-90% against us this last series.

Detroit will get a 3rd, with no retention for Glendening from someone on the market.

Thinking about it I could see Yzerman taking a 4th from BriesBois given their history.

I doubt JBB has any interest in adding a forward. We get Kucherov back for the playoffs; he will be our add at forward.
