How is Matthews the NHL’s most valuable player? You must have massive blinders on to have an opinion like that. How Valuable is Kane to Chicago? How Valuable is Mackinnon to Colorado?

When Edmonton plays Toronto I have never thought “oh no, they’ve gotta find a way to stop Matthews.” Instead, it’s always “I hope our bottom 6 doesn’t get completely outmatched this time”.

Matthews is a good player, but he’s not that good. Toronto can win games just fine without him because he’s not what makes your team great.

How can you not say that Matthews isn't own of the most valuable. He has elite scoring. He plays great defensily that if he don't win selke I'm gonna be pissed.

The last part gets me he's good but he's not that good. Wow. That's amazing. Overall he's one of the best players in the league if you don't think so just stop being a hockey fan.
