If that's what it costs to convince Seattle to take Neal then that's an absolute no from the Oilers. McLeod is basically a late first round pick, so two late first round picks to move Neal's contract? Would rather buy him out.

Edit: everything else doesn't look bad, wouldn't be mad if Holland pulled any of those trade or signings off.

...Mcleod was a second rounder and has only been whelming since being drafted

...... I know he was a second rounder but when he was drafted he was in the first round on some lists and he was an early second round pick... He's also playing and developing like a later first round pick.... Haha

Don't like that trade for the Jackets at all. There's no reason to trade either of the goaltenders early unless we get something we badly need. Samurokov might be interesting but he doesn't qualify as a serious need.

If the Jackets were to move Korpisalo or Elvis to Edmonton Lavoie would likely have to be a starting point. Maybe if they build a prospect heavy package they could use Caleb Jones as a centerpiece but that is what Jarmo would be looking for.
