Vrana has been a more consistent even strength goal scorer than Jack Eichel over the last three years and everybody says he's worth four firsts because he plays center on a rough team (although he's had some decent linemates). So, yeah, "Wow."

But why is NSH getting all that while WSH gets stuck having to play seven D and 11 forwards?

Caps easily decline. They have about 12029487593457298 left handed defensemen. They are one of the best defensive teams in the league as well. No need for Ekholm.
