Not sure why the Leafs would give up their best defenseman for a 3C and Georgiev. I understand the situation in net is pretty tough for the Leafs right now but I don't see this boding well for them this season or beyond.

You been checking out the season Strome’s been having? The dude’s legit, on top of being “6’1, (almost) 200lbs every time he hits the ice”.

SUPER dependent on Strome maintaining his high level of play, Sandin developing quickly, and Georgiev turning back into a 1B goalie.

Strome seems legit, but do the Leafs need more offence only players? A lot of their success this year is coming from improved defensive play.

Also, Leafs are way better off signing a Driedger type than give up assets for Georgiev.

If Rielly is dealt, I'd be hoping for better fits.

Gieorgiev hasn't ever been a 1B goalie for more than a few games at a time. Strome is also just not good and 6'1 and almost 200 lbs is Marner's size. You are out to lunch

Maybe the Devils aren't bad because they are the youngest team in the league. Palmieri is a top 6 player and Wood could play anywhere in the lineup. I know you don't watch Devils games but Wood and Palmieri are solid players and have big roles on the team with their two way game and leadership

So you don't think Kerfoot is solid player and you think the Leafs and probably only the Leafs have to overpay to get two wingers that the Leafs don't need.
Let's see what Palmeiri brings at TDL. Can't imagine he's going to get anywhere near what Jersey fans think the Leafs and only the Leafs are going to have to pay for him.

I think Kerfoot is a solid player but overpaid and someone the Devils don't need. Especially if it costs Palmieri or Wood. I don't think Palmieri will get a huge return like I want, but most of these offers seem low. What makes you think the Leafs are the only team that has to overpay to get Palmieri and Wood?

Just going by so many posts, I see other teams trading for Palmeiri for lot less than the Leaf posts. Rage from Jersey fans that the Leafs never give enough, but hardly a whimper of protest from Jersey fans for what I consider not nearly the same quality from non Leaf teams. Same issue with so many Taylor Hall trades.
