No Way a 1st Rounder Unless

Created by: Brian2016
Team: 2020-21 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 6, 2021
Published: Apr. 6, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Hall is terrible. He's nothing close to the great skater and superb playmaker he was 3-4 years ago. Very few teams will be interested in him. I'm thinking BOS, PIT, or DAL.
Trades
BOS
  1. Hall, Taylor ($4,000,000 retained)
BUF
  1. 2021 2nd round pick (BOS)
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
2nd Rounder upgrades to a 1st if BOS reaches Final Four. If BOS win the Cup the 3rd Rounder upgrades to a 2021 2nd Rounder.

I have this crazy feeling that Buffalo will way overvalue Hall right up til the last minute before the TDL and they'll end up keeping him like Tavares with NYI. If they think they're getting a 1st rounder w/o conditions they're crazy, imo.

He's much, much slower than he was even last season. His shot has never been great and now it's terrible. If he couldn't post decent numbers with an elite #1 C in BUF, I highly doubt he will anywhere else.

Hall is terrible. Should have stopped there. No need to trade for him.

I think his knee is gone.

They said he was bone on bone before. You don't "fix" that.
He kept playing on it hoping to cash in. But I think he's running out of tread. He never got the long term deal he wanted. He hoped he could just keep putting it off to cash in at a better time, but that was probably a mistake. He should have signed long term last year.

Exactly. And he doesn't make the players around him better. That's gotta be at play for any trade partner.
