Description

Kucherov and Gusev are ex-linemates that tore up the Russia junior leagues and are pretty close to best friends from what I can tell. If Gusev wants to take a discount deal, I'd give him a shot with Kucherov to revive his NHL career.

It's either him or Palat who has to go (in addition to Johnson) to make us cap compliant.

I agree it’s gotta be Johnson and Killorn who go. Would be all for a Gusev deal if he’d be willing to sign for that cheap

I figure if we have him signed at a number that can be fully buried then where's the risk to us? And if it doesn't work out, then he probably knows it's time to return to the KHL.
