Ça paraît gros mais Wood c'est un Byron offensif et Palmieri un autre Toffoli, je donne gros car le New Jersey retiendra énormément de masse dans cette transaction. Sans oublier que Armia est aussi joueur autonome. Pour Norlinder je crains qu'il ne demeure en Europe avec son équipe lui qui est déjà sous contrat l'an prochain.

On a suffisamment de choix au repêchage, et de jeunes talents en banque pour la suite, là je prépare une équipe de série et l'an prochain.

Armia + 1st + 3rd + B level prospect someone like Tuch, Mysak, Struble or Harris. The real issue is though we need a PM D man not another winger, we can call up Poehling, Yelonen, Caufield, Evans or Frolik.

I am not saying your trade is bad, I am suggesting you put up a different player than Norlinder. I am sure MTL has their prospects on a depth board, I would offer up a different player that is all.

But seriously, I am hearing he has tremendous vision, he can make quick passes out of his zone. This is his first season playing in the top league over there, he is only 20 playing in a mens league. He is projected to be a top 4 d-man.

From Montreal? I don't think they should be offering anything close to that. I don't like the idea of a 4th place team in their division trading 1st round picks + quality prospects for a rental. Only way I'm doing that is if we are upgrading from Armia for example and giving NJ a 2nd round pick+ something small.

Miles Wood really isn't that good. I'd rather just trade Armia + 2nd for Palmieri? I doubt NJ would do that, but that's what I would be comfortable offering.

Wood is a young speester (a younger Byron) and I value this type of player if I have to replace Lehkonen next year (contract issues)

I can't say I watch him play a whole lot, but according to advanced analytics, it seems the only good point to his game is 5v5 offense, his defensive side of the game is atrocious, so I don't see him being a good fit on our defensive 4th line. Not to mention he's currently making 2.75 Million which is likely more than Lehkonen will get next year if we resign him.

*edit* just realized you retained 1M on his contract, but at 1.75, he's still not worth it. I'd rather play a guy from Laval

Nj is a bliss on d-side zone, Miles is really a good guy to go with. If Lehky go he is my target (yep with a million retained) at 2,750 i'd rather sign lehky at 2,600

Nordlinder is a left pmd who's playing shl for another year. He is more than a top4 projection to many of us, but we need speed and quick shot. Are you guys ok with salary retention???

It hurts a little with Wood (with the term) but I would be fine with it
