My final TDL wishlist

Created by: TheOtherAuston
Team: 2020-21 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 6, 2021
Published: Apr. 6, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If a third and the prospect isn't enough for Laughton then upgrade it to a second and drop abramov.

I feel like the Florida deal should be enough, if they don't want Scott as they have knight then switch it for another B prospect, driedger is a good goalie and I know it might look light on value but they won't be resigning him due to Bob, and knight coming up.

As for all the cap implications, Freddy is close to the retroactive LTIR I believe so some space will be made there as well as the 860K that is already available. If that's still not enough ride Campbell and driedger and pull a Tampa and leave Fred on LTIR till the playoffs then roll him out.

Florida will only trade CD if someone is willing to overpay

Florida has a better record than the leafs. Why on Earth would they be trading Driedger right now? Whether he's the starter or not, he's been an essential back up. Would you be trading Campbell if Andy was healthy if he was a pending UFA? Of course not.

I think CBJ would accept. A 2nd and 5th are good value for Foligno and Del Zotto, and I am intrigued by Hallander.

Rumour is, Hallander is near NHL ready. Maybe some time in the AHL adapting to North American ice.

I'd at least try for higher picks elsewhere, but this would be something to come back to later, probably. With the understanding that Petan's new address will be in Cleveland rather than Columbus, of course.

I don't disagree with that logic but it was reported that the Florida gm was willing to move him from everything I've heard.
