It's more about the injury. They play the flames a lot down the stretch, given it's unlikely... If flames win all of those games they are in and MTL is out.

I don't see Montreal trading Tuch, he's looking like a steal right now.

I like the idea of Janmark, but not at that price and Bergy doesn't like trading prospects

Could be a second, but really I want one of Tuch or Jan Mysak. I think Janmark would be a good fit in MTL and I could see an extension for him if you can get rid of Byron.

I know you want them because they are both looking great! I think Berg would rather trade a 2nd. I don't think he likes the draft being in this year.

The price for either is likely a third, I think this is a good deal because you clear Kerfoots cap. I would look at that aspect first.

Flames are 6 points back right now and Montreal has 4 games in hand if the flames did manage to win all 5 remaining games they would still have to count on Montreal playing at less than .500 hockey. That I a lot to count on, also the trade makes little sense as well when we have Armia coming back this week or next week and Frolik, Evans, Caufield, and Poehling among others we don't need another depth winger.

It's unlikely, but not impossible. I think Janmark is a better addition than all of the guys you mentioned because he brings a two way game. You can't count on Caufield to play a Janmark role.

Caufield plays a decent 2 way game. Granato and the Badgers staff helped him develop the 2 way game and he brings a much more needed aspect, goal scoring! Armia is better than Janmark and Poehling has been living up to his draft pedigree this season. Evans is also solid defensively, so like I said Janmark is not needed.

Edit** sorry I meant Armia is equal to Janmark defensively

Is Subban really that much better than JoJo? I don't know that it's even worth losing the 4th.

Could be. It's a low risk deal in any case.
