It could be worse. I saw an isles fan say that they should trade beau this offseason to free up cap space and then proceed to say that the isles should trade for 37 year old Dustin brown and his 5.8 mill cap hit 🤦🏼‍♂️

I’m gonna be honest , the two things that trigger me the most are 1.when fans say we should trade for parise/brown or 2. Say we should trade beau because he’s streaky.

Most top 6 players are streaky goal scorers. Hoffman 3 goals in his last 20 games. Laine 1 goal in his last 20 games.

I’m on the trade bellows train but moving any of the other young guys makes zero sense

I’m fine with trading bellows because I know trotz will never trust him and they’re not going to protect him in the expansion draft

Bellows is in the mold of Laine and Hoffman in that they cannot succeed in a defensive minded system. I’m not saying bellows will ever be on Laine level but they play a similar game and need passing centers to be successful .
