I think Galch is really going to have to move the needle to get more than a one year deal, let alone a raise. I think for him it is probably smart to take whatever he can get to stay with a team that seems to be a fit in order to rejuvenate his career before asking for anything.

I wish the Leafs had space to pay Spezza the money he deserves. We are taking him for granted.

I think Laughton is going to want a little more than 2.75M. I'd take him for anything less than Kerfoot's 3.5M. Shed Engvall and try to get Hyman lower but with more term.

Not sure what the plan is with Liljegren. He isn't a Bogosian style guy, do you split the Holl/Muzzin pairing and put TJ Brodie on the left and try to resign Bogosian? I guess what I am trying to say is speculation on next season is super fun, especially with Rielly's contract coming to an end. I think he plays it out but who knows.
