This is on of the worst trades I've ever seen. Gurianov is WAYYYYYY better than Zucker plus he's younger, more skilled, on a better contract and he's one of our untouchables. We also don't want Zucker's contract, it's too long and too big. So Oleksiak for an AHL d-man. This is laughable.

Philly is not giving away their prospects, they are selling expiring contracts and i don't think pittsburgh would land laughton easily because of the rivalry

Is Gurianov having a down year? Yes. Is Dallas going to move a 23-year old who led the team in goal scoring as a rookie? No shot; especially when you take a look at where they are as a franchise. They are one of the older teams in the league, their rebuild is quickly approaching, and they don't have a very deep crop of young players/impact prospects in their organization.

Guys like Hintz, Gurianov, Robertson, etc. are all about as close to untouchable as you can get at this point & a package involving an overpaid Zucker & a bottom pair defenseman certainly don't move the needle at all for the Stars.

Jankowski is older and worse than Tierney.

Formenton > Twarynski.

I dont think Pettersson moves the needle.
