Description

Colorado gets a huge piece and goalie insurance for a cup run. The Sabres can try and get Ullmark back in the offseason and there are other pieces that could be added for Montour and Ristolainen. This would help secure the future now that the young core is starting to figure things out.

I think colorado would pass, i don't see them moving timmins and newhook for rentals

I’ve seen bad trades on here, this isn’t the worst but it’s up there. Straight awful COL literally hangs up.

So who is the "huge piece"? It's 2021, so you can't mean Hall.

i still believe in his effectiveness with good linemates and an up tempo system. i think he's rested and healthy and would be the kind of move a GM would make to load the roster for a cup run. that's why it's swinging for the fences. joe sakic shouldn't do this deal but even smart GMs sometimes overpay. that's why filip forsberg plays for nashville.

Newhook is every bit as good as Cozens and is the Avs 2C as soon as 2022, they are not trading him for a freaking head case that said he wanted to play meaningful hockey, turned down a reported $6M from the Avs to sign an $8M 1 yr deal with the Sabres. One the Avs have no interest in Hall, 2 it’s Covid cup and NOBODY is over paying unless they are stupid and well the Avs are the best team in the league right now they aren’t desperate 3 Halls little stunt and ZERO like production severely diminishes his value. I mean honestly it’s ridiculous.
