I think that's about what the Flames will get if they trade Johnny.

Lots of people will be incredibly disappointed

Are those prospects ready for NHL reps next season? If not I think the Flames try find more NHL ready players to compete next season. Probably a good return for Gaudreau, you will find a few Flames fans on this site who think Gaudreau is still worth his 99 point season but consecutive 50 - 60 ish points seasons will not fetch the haul they want.

Suter is in the NHL right now tied with Kaprizov for the lead in goals, Regula might be one more year away

Probably a really strong bid for Johnny Hockey then. I don't think he will be moved at the deadline which is too bad.

Colorado is probably still better looking back on it, Tampa is right now but they're going to lose pieces this offseaosn for cap reasons. Probably Johnson and eigther palat or killorn. This team is much deeper than WPG and the Leafs and probably just as good at the top with a healthy Toews, Kane, Debrincat, Johnny Hockey, Kubalik

WPG is worse as a team. I'm talking about offense. No one can challenge WPG on that side. But WPG also have probably the worst defensive with LA and Detroit

If you have no top line that has McJesus, Draisaitl, and Kane... Then the best offense you do not have.

Healthy or not how old is Toews now? And he's missing a full year of hockey? We'll have to agree to disagree.

He was ppg the last two seasons. We'll see what happens if/when he comes back because a year off could be a big deal or it could be nothing. We don't know what he has so its hard to tell

Yeah he had a resurgence two years ago eh? But he was offensively a step back for a couple years before that. A bit of an odd career trajectory, as you say hard to say.

Any update on what is going on? I don't follow particularly closely Chicago news up here in Canada

I hope whatever it is he recovers okay.

But the longer it is the lower my hope is on that.
