    1. I think ladd will be on ltir by next year so you sont have to move that contract.
    2. Its time for aho to play, and i happen to think him and mayfield as a 3rd pair will work really well together.
    3. Flip bailey wahlstrom and eberle so its

This won't be the most popular idea but I could see this as a possibility/avenue to keeping Palms. (Side note: I could see Bolduc as LD3 next year but I really don't like that core on the left side)

What about trading Beau to induce SEA to take Ladd?

He's been a top 20 defensemen this season. I think 6x6.5 is fair

Basically a Toews 2.0 situation. Trading a player with value for your best possible return. Could Ladd be LTIR and this is a moot point? Sure. But this could be your way to finally get him off the books

The staple contract pre-season from nhl execs had him around 4x4 shockingly

looking at it from a long term standpoint moving beau to keep Palmieri is like shooting someone then looking around for who did it

6x5.5 huh? I wonder when that contract would be bought out. Probably year 2.

5.5-6 is definitely fair value, but with the flat cap a lot of deals seem to be getting about 1m shaved off the top so I'm assuming that's where the 4-4.5 numbers are coming from.
