Calgary needs a shakeup. Voracek has more points than Gaudreau does last 2 years. Sanheim is pretty even with Hanifin. Patrick can still be a solid 3C which Calgary needs.

Seriously, why would DET consider this in any way? Bert is solid and has great value, gotta be high end prospect or whats the point?

If Ratcliffe's skating improves he might be more than a bottom 6 winger his biggest asset is his size at 6'5" 195lbs. Detroit has Rasmussen who 6'6" 221lbs is a much better skater and every bit as talented. Detroit also has Soderblom and at 6'8" 238lbs he has the potential to be better than both Ratcliffe and Rasmussen. So with Rasmussen and Soderblom they don't need to take a chance on Ratcliffe becoming more than a bottom 6 winger because of his size. Allison is playing well in his first couple of pro hockey games in the AHL. Remember Hirose looked really good in his first few games of pro hockey and that was in the NHL. Add in the cap dump and this isn't even close to Bertuzzi's value.
