Avs certainly don't want to tie up 9m in those two Habs in future years.

Doesnt that solve Seattle expension? Will they go 8-1 or 7-3-1

Teams won't have any problems with their roster protection schemes. Avs will be looking at how to find cap resign Makar, Landeskog and Grubauer. Edmundson, and Drouin really can't be traded by the Avs without similar cap being returned.
