Cheapest is probably Dzingel. If I were you I'd go for Rakell. He's got an extra year on his deal.

Laughton Simmonds reuniting could be a something to see

Dont really like Dzingel as I want a more 2-way guy than offense only

Ryan is injured so Dubas probs looking elsewhere

Benning has a thing for Pearson and is willing to extend him rather than trade him as a rental to gain assets than extend him after seattle

Iaffalo would be such a nice add and I believe would really be nice on our 3rd line or with Matthews

Unless a 3rd team comes in or Kerfoot is moved cant see Folingo happening, same as Hall situation rn

So out of this list I would say the best options (Iaffalo, Rakell, Laughton)

In general most these guys would be in the 1st round pick range with a few exceptions.

Preds are in a playoff spot so they really aint moving Rakell, same with Coyotes who also are in a playoff spot so moving Garland would be pretty dumb

Got to imagine if Palmieri alone would have fetched a 2nd and some career AHLers, other than Rakell these guys will be pretty cheap mid round pick trades.

Iafallo is the guy they should add. His xGA is towards the top of the league against the toughest competition. He does struggle with xGF but is league average producing points. I think he plays with Kopitar so putting him with Tavares would be a perfect fit.

He's definitely the guy I'd want Toronto to go after out of these. Cheaper than a lot of them too so retention wouldn't be as much of an issue.

I was thinking Iafallo but honestly I would look at Laughton. Laughton brings grit, skill and had chemistry with simmonds from when they played together in philly. With Philly potentially being out of the race could see them selling some pieces and Laughton shouldnt really be to expensive to add. While Engvall has looked alright I just dont see him as a good 3c option, at 4c great but 3c has been an issue for us and Laughton I feel would be a good fit.
