Team: 2020-21 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 8, 2021
Published: Apr. 8, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
1. Hire a good coach: Ted Nolan

2. Trade Eichel: his value is high, it's been a long time in Buffalo and it seems that he's not the answer. Trade him for young guys who will pull Buffalo back in the conversation.

3. Dahlin: I would keep him, he's very young and will be the cornerstone of this franchise. Find him a RH dman to play with and let them grow together.

4. The Workhorse from Whitehorse is probably the next captain of the club. Find him solid wingers.

5. In net: Give some games to big Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. Its not been an easy year in the AHL but give him some game in the show to help his development.

6. Bad contracts: The Sabres are stock with a couple of bad contracts; live with it, use them in a situation they can thrive. It's easy to say they suck amd put them on the 4th, they will suck even more.

Seattle protection:

Would Buffalo consider dropping Fleury and the 2nd if Montreal included a 1st + 3rd

Habs accept. I wonder if Buffalo should look to perhaps get more picks in future years instead of all in 2021, as there are so many unknowns in this draft, they could end up picking some duds without being able to evaluate every player as usual

we need defenders, anything else you like on the menu? I like the Tage idea. How much to get Reinhart? Picks do it or is it a mix?

Because he sucks at 5v5. He's a PP specialist and even then he hasn't done anything on the PP for quite some time.

interesting. Devils have 0 scorers and their powerplay is abysmal, even if he's just a hired gun on the PP NJ could use him
