Buffalo says no, but it would depend on what they think they could get in further Gaudreau trade.
Leafs say no. Need Kerfoot at centre. And really who has been the better player this year Hall or Kerfoot? I'd keep Kerfoot.

4 fewer years of JG than JE meanwhile it's fairly easy to replace Monahan in free agency so yes BUF says no though that first rounder definitely is compelling

I'm not so sure, I think Hall could rebound in TO with better players, a better system and less pressure since he doesn't need to be the main guy. Or at the same time, he could flounder because if he doesn't produce right away the pressure really mounts. Kerfoot is expendable. Engvall and Spezza both can play centre in the bottom 6.

I am so torn on the thought of Hall.
