It’s alright. I wish the pick was much much better. I know a couple of Hawks fans have wanted Borgstom.

Connolly will help us more than Wallmark will this year, can expose him in the expansion draft. The stillman for Carlsson swap is a little weird, but Carlsson was likely never going to get consistent time with Zadorov playing well and Beaudin and Vlasic coming through the system. I like Borgstrom as a sweetener and then a 7th round lottery ticket. Its definitely not a bad trade. Just kind of weird

The Stan Bowman reclamation projects rolls on!

I actually think this is a good trade for Stan and the Hawks. Carlsson didn't have a place or future with this team, and Connelly, after a change of scenery, could do well playing on the right with Kubalik. Borgstrom... Well, let's see how that goes. Well done, Stan!

Pick could've been better but not a bad move for the hawks if borgstrom comes over.

Hawks get borgstrom for taking on connolly.
Carlsson and stillman are about equal.
Only a 7th for wallmark but he wasn't even cracking the lineup.
