According to quanthockey.com, Manson has been playing 17 minutes a game on an atrocious ANA team. He's not even a top 4 caliber d-man anymore.

Simplify the deal. Take out unnecessary players like Grant and Hutton and just go Niku and a 2nd fir Manson.

I’m sure a team would if they wanted to. You’re not the GM or coach so you don’t see what they see.
