BUF refuse someone will definitely outbid a late 2nd and a healthy scratch for Hall

Hoffman is a PP specialist and not good defensively. He's a plan C or D. Manson is RD, not LD.

I don't see them getting many better offers.

Hall is a healthy scratch so using your logic, they're winning since they get a 2nd for free.

I'm sure you're smart enough to understand he's a healthy scratch so he doesnt get injured and hurt is trade value

Don't know how 2 goal Hall, adds to the scoring. Trades are reasonable though..
Maybe Bruins should have been in on Palmeiri and Zajec.....two good players for just a first rounder.

You could always trade him in the off-season. He is an RFA, he’s not going anywhere. Taylor Hall‘s contract is up at the end of the year and if he gets hurt and can’t be traded Buffalo loses him for nothing. Huge difference.

Just an overpay by the bruins on Hall, maybe a lesser player than Bjork and it gets done!

Ducks probably decline the trade, but its not a bad thought considering their needs!

Point is that Bjork is a decent 3rd liner, not a healthy scratch.

That wasn’t the point he was trying to make. Buffalo doesn’t need more third line talent anyway, they could use someone for the top six. Maybe just piling up draft picks and then using them to make trades at the draft would be more beneficial.

Not sure about that.

"BUF refuse someone will definitely outbid a late 2nd and a healthy scratch for Hall" I interpret it as if Bjork is only a healthy scratch, not good enough to be a regular or doesn't have any value which is false.

I’m not sure he’s better than what they already have in their bottom six. He might end up just being a healthy scratch here. Either way I don’t think the Sabres need him unless they’re moving Lazar in addition to the expiring contracts they have. Bjork is younger than Lazar, not necessarily better.

Higher upside than Lazar. And yes, he is better than any of the Sabres' bottom-6 players (assuming Skinner, Eichel, Olofsson, Reinhart, Cozens, Mittelstadt are in the top6).

Until he’s gone, Taylor Hall is still a top six forward on this team. Bjork might be slightly better than Thompson, but Thompson is finally starting to try. I wouldn’t say he’s better than Apslund, he’s been scoring goals every game he plays lately. I wouldn’t say he’s better than Girgensons either because even if he’s only a fourth line player who is injured this year, he was important enough to give a multi year deal. I think Bjork would be one more piece to tempt Seattle with.

Not a third but a conditional fourth. And no prospects just 25 and 27 year old AHLers. Added to just to keep the # of the rosters even for both teams.

Bjork has played up and down the lineup. He’s like Västano, Donato, and Smith. I’d give the right opportunity they can hold a 2nd line spot. He’s on the cusp.

He’s better than the bottom 6, but honestly, I rather Tage and Montour for that package. Or
Bigger and target Ollofson or Reinhart as the forward and see if you get Hall as a throw in.

As bad as Hall is, there is a team called the Panthers who are probably going to overpay for him and regret it.

Not sure Hoffman needs a Ritchie to make that deal either. Ritchie has term and just as many points (or close enough) for a guy who’s UFA.

If Ritchie goes then they need to send an AHL prospect for it gets sweeter and Dunn comes our way.
