Description

Pageau-Barzal-Eberle
I'm not a fan of moving Pageau to wing, but if any of our centers can do it, it's him. He can keep up with Barzal's speed and will take faceoffs, which is Barzal's biggest weakness.

Palmieri-Nelson-Bailey
Apparently Palmieri can play LW, so let's put him with Nelson and Bailey. Nelson's an all-around scorer, Bailey's a playmaker, so have Palmieri finish all their plays. I like the natural inside shots here too.

Beauvillier-Zajac-Wahlstrom
I like this line a lot. A lot of scoring and a lot of energy. Wahlstrom has benefited tremendously playing with Pageau, so Zajac should be an easy transition for him. Beauvillier and Wahlstrom have played well together too so this line just makes a lot of sense.

Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck
If it ain't broke... this is the BFLIH.

Komarov should be the extra forward. I think he played nice but he's going to get exposed if he plays too many games in a row. If Zajac ever needs a rest, I'd make the lines:

Beau-Barzal-Eberle
Palmieri-Nelson-Bailey
Komarov-Pageau-Wahlstrom
Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

I still think we could use another defenseman. Jon Merrill or Jamie Oleksiak would be nice.
