Merzlikins trade is useless for both sides. Merzlikins is still a negative GSAx goalie, if you want a goalie id recommend Drieger out of Florida. Dominik Kahun is a really good player, and Marody has been great in the AHL so far.

I doubt seattle would do that trade too. there is guaranteed gonna be a better player/group of players available to choose from (could be a guy like Benson or a guy like Caleb Jones who would be a big loss.)

Nuge has already not liked a contract offer that was likely in the 5's somewhere. I doubt he cares as much about term as he does about actual money.

Merzlikins is better obviously. But not by a lot. And Kahun could easily fill in for Archibald.

If you want RNH then Laine is coming back the other way, neither goalie is worth RNH
