How? They're both UFAs and Columbus can just sign them next year. Eamon Powell is a decent prospect and the 1st is still a 1st.

As for the Hawks trade. Keep Lipanov and drop the 6th and I think Stan will likely do it.

Top 6 potential for sure. Dude has proved himself in the minors, now it’s just a matter of when/if he will crack a full time NHL spot. It may be difficult to do that in Tampa but his skill set works well in a top 6 role and there is a high chance he pans out into a high point producer.

Slow footspeed is his #1 downside. He definitely has the talent to be in a top 6 spot down the line.

I could see this deal happening for the bolts.
THey dont give an F about their first, it's all about winning right now, this helps them do that. In the end i think Jarmo would be happy to get a 1st and some decent prospects for pending UFA's. Although, the total package of selling them off individually is probably better
