as a Sabre fan, I would like this.... BUT....I don't think it's realistic.

The only way that I can see the Habs giving up that 1st rounder (even in this draft) if it's a condition 2nd - that would become a 1st if the Habs get to the Semi-Finals/Finals (and thats not even taking Lehkonen into account - which would need to be a part of the deal for cap reasons, IMO).

Simply put, if it was Hall (with 50% retained) for Lehkonen and Tampa's 2nd, that I could see happening.

Hall has little to no leverage anymore tbh. I don't see Buffalo getting a first for Hall's presence anywhere else, so they could bump down to a second for sure
