It's about what is best for the rebuild and taking a gamble on Mantha's ceiling is worth more than that return to the rebuild, specifically. If they decide to move Mantha, it will need to be for a very handsome return. An Isles fan posted an offer of Salo, Bellows and a 1st that I thought made a lot more sense if we were going to move him.

There is just no incentive for us to move him for anything less than a haul. We're not here to make other teams better.

honestly he prolly to injury prone anyways but when he can play hes high top 6 in my opinion and this year is different so totals arent like taken too harsh cuz they both havent produced as high as they usually do

I voted for Zucker because that doesn't get you Mantha. Detroit just resigned Mantha to a team friendly deal. Zucker is 3yrs older and he has almost the same cap hit but he hasn't out produced Mantha since the 2017-18 season. Lafferty is a bottom 6 winger and that's one thing Detroit already has in spades.
