VAN says no to that deal. Honestly think that a Loui Eriksson, Andreas Johnsson 1-for-1 swap is fair as is. Like maybe VAN adds a mid round pick or C+/B- prospect but Johnsson is also a cap dump and has an extra year than Eriksson.

Loui takes probably a first to dump. Johnsson is worth around a 3rd round pick. I think 2 2nds is fair, especially since they are saving cap and improving the team

For the record I hate the Tampa trade. I think it's fairer than some give it credit for since Wood is at a great cap hit next season and then he's still RFA. However, I doubt we want to move a young RHD unless more options emerge (like Ben Thomas.....).

Montreal isn't doing that trade. Perhaps a Butcher for Byron straight swap would work better.
