Byron is a cap dump. If a player with a big contract is put on waivers and goes unclaimed, he's a cap dump.

Bergevin has claimed he has no cap dump players. You aren't getting any assets to take on his contract.

Just because Bergevin said he has no cap dump players doesn't mean Byron isn't a cap dump. Byron has a large contract and the Habs have to give assets to a team to take him

I like it. I purposed a trade similar to that but an OIlers fan declined because they said that the Oilers barely any 2021 picks.

That’s true, but dumping Neal is ideal. Also they have to keep in mind that our 2021 first is going to be late, and it’s a weak draft. I think it’s fair, and I’m glad you like it!
