Trotz spending a lot of time today on Wahlstrom. He skated hard today and Trotz says he will be a big part of #Isles future and will be back in lineup. Just not tonight. There are roster concerns through Monday's trade deadline regarding having to potentially expose players.

Even better. One thing I hate about isles media (staple, gross etc) is they constantly praise guys like Leo , Greene, Ross while staple mentions to trotz today that wahlstrom has fallen off a bit the last 5 games. Really? Trotz has saddled him with Ross against oveckins line and he still gets a ton of dangerous looks each game. He’s been above 50% xgf% in 4 of the last 5 games.

I know how this feels. Watching the Jets, I constantly see Harkins and vesalainen scratched while Maurice plays Thompson and Lewis. Also Maurice thought it was a good idea to move Copp into the top 6 over Appleton who’s earned a chance in the top 6.

Only saving grace is that Thompson and Lewis actually have done something when they’ve played. They’re not hot garbage like komarov LOL.

It's really frustrating that so many Isles fans just want to get angry and take 0 time to think critically about why Trotz made a certain decision. Also, if you're rooting for them to lose you're not even a fan, the 0 IQ takes need to stop.

I heard the interview, wahlstrom is not in the lineup because trotz wants Leo in and they won’t waive Ross. I guess getting their best goal scorer in the lineup isn’t important

I'm watching the Trotz news conference right now and he even says in the interview that yes Wahlstrom will be back and the reasons he gives as to why he's sitting out are good ones. I don't get all the panic, it's a 2 or 3 games big deal. It gives him a chance to get healthy and come back stronger.

If Wahlstrom is healthy and not in the game after Monday, I'll be 100% on board with you. Until then, there are logical reasons for Wahlstrom being out even if it's disappointing to the fans, including myself.
