that 2nd pair is a disaster waiting to happen. Oleksiak is basically Dallas' verion of Holl and he needs his Muzzin (heiskanen) to function as a good 2nd pair anchor. Rielly similalry needs a guy like Brodie, who Oleksiak is not

Leafs are worse. Rather keep RHD Holl than Olesiak. Rather keep Engvall than Nash. Forget 4m Coleman at LW, Keep Kerfoot at centre and Galyenchyk at LW.

Nope, you're wrong. 2nd pair is better than what they have right now.

Leafs are better actually. Oleksiak plays a more defensive role than Holl, Engvall is way too soft and scared to play playoff hockey, and Coleman/Goodrow wins you championships (not Kerfoot).

no, it really isnt. it is much worse. especially with Rielly on the right, he cant play the right at all, and it limits his effectiveness at moving the puck forward significantly

i mean, goodrow and coleman are better than Engvall, but that's a terrible evaluation of engvall's play. Also it's amazing how many people have fallen for the "they win you championships" simply because they got traded to one of the best teams of the last decade that was carried by their elite players (point, kuch, hedman and vasy) and not their depth guys

Holl probably as much defensive roll as any Leafs RHD. Plus you've moved Reilly to his not comfortable right side. No, the Leafs are worse. Engvall has hardly played playoff hockey at all. He's played well since he has become a regular . So please don't used these phoney subjective "too soft and scared" to justify these moves.

The Leafs are better. So you want a guy who has no playoff experience over someone like Riley Nash who is meant for playoff hockey. Engvall is way too scared and soft to play playoff hockey. In our great win against the Habs, did you see Engvall fear for his life when Josh Anderson went behind him?

If Riley gets to see a playoff game with the Leafs....maybe we'll see if he a playoff performer. His 8 points in 32 games doesn't scream playoff performer...though stats aren't everything. Neither does his 7 points in 32 games this season. No I don't think Engvall feared for his life.

Look at how Keefe praised Riley. Look at his stats
