I think there’s like a 10% chance that he comes back. I’m rooting for him, but obviously health comes first. With the issues he’s dealing with, there’s little chance he’s back but I’m hoping for the best. I think Chevy makes 1-2 trades at this TDL, but likely just pure rental moves.

See, the issue with getting rentals this year for the Jets is that there is a clear problem for the Jets (defence) and every team that has rental defensemen is going to take advantage of the fact that we are desperate for better D and will bump up their prices, but lets hope that the Jets find a way to make some smart moves, would love to see a long play-off run this year!

Why are we paying a 2nd for them to take DeMelo? Just let them decide between Harkins, Niku, DeMelo or Berdin. Cut your losses without giving up any extra assets!

Cause Harkins and Berdin are good and a 2nd in this draft is a total crap shoot and getting rid of DeMelo and his cap hit would be great, if that's all it takes to get rid of him plus keep Harkins and Berdin then make that trade!
