I don’t believe a contract can be more than 50% retained, even if another team is involved

Savard hasn’t been playing well. He isn’t a cup guaranteeing type player. I like Savard but he isn’t a Coleman type contributor.

Columbus also has been bad. Look what happened with Bogosian last year. Buffalo terminated him for being trash (not exactly how it went but still), but then immediately propelled us through most of the playoffs pairing with Hedman. See you all in the playoffs
