I wouldn't know simply because I'm pretty sure Doug Wilson isn't trying to take on salary for couple more years. If this was the only year on Hagelin's deal Sharks take it though.

Marleau can't score and can't play centre. I can understand wanting to get rid of Hagelin's contract, but you aren't improving the team this year.

Laughton is a significant upgrade over Hagelin. Can’t pick up Laughton without dumping that salary.
