Do we even need a 3C? I’m very comfortable with McCann in that role.

Jake-Sid-Rust
____-Malkin-Kap
Zucker-McCann-Erod
ZAR-Bluegar-Tanev

I think the biggest addition would be for a guy to play with malkin. I don’t wanna break up the McCann line.

McCann is a Top 6 Forward, Period

I wouldnt waste him as a 3C.

So was kessel in 2016. If we can run 3 legit scoring lines, and a shutdown fourth line, that would be so reminiscent of the 2016 cup.

What happened to McCann last year.....
when we had him in Top 6 at LW & at Center all year, then when we got healthy, we made him a Defensive 3rd line Center.... He turned into a mess

I don't think that's a bad deal for the Canucks and Pitt

Blues have no need for another D man. If you want Blais, you need to pony up a much better draft pick or prospect. And seeing as we are likely to lose a forward to the expansion draft, the chances of us moving Blais are slim

I agree, I like him better as a wing on the Malkin-Kapanen line. A big center to fill that 3C would be the most ideal trade. Aside from that, I'm fine with nothing else being done to the team.

I like the van trade for both teams and the value is fair - nice job

Doubt the blues make that deal, but there are similar players to Blais available

Why?
ZAR is becoming a very good player & we need a 3C & tough player?

For Pitt, you're getting speed and toughness with Virtanen and MacEwen. Don't think it addresses your 3C spot, but McCann can probably fill in there.
