No this is 2018, instead of boston trading for coyle we do and try kadri at matthews wing

Your concept was very unclear.

Boston traded donato, who at the time had more value than a 2nd round pick.

Dubas did not have the space at the time to do it and Coyle would not have had a place on the team considering we had Matthews, Tavares, and Kadri back then. I know he can play wing but realistically hes best off as a 3c. Than factor in at the time our RW was (Nylander, Marner, Kapenan, Moore/Ennis) so really had no room. But heres the issue. That contract vs. Production for him rn aint looking good. I know he would potentially would do better in the North but still theres no guarantees
