All the analytics in the world don’t mean a thing if the production isn’t there.

Don’t need to defend him, he’s not your problem anymore. Be thankful.

i mean if Hall does not improve scoring wise or play wise with the bruins really I would say Buffalo won by getting rid of him. We shall wait and see

Maybe if u took the time to look at the analytics u would know that his play has been fine his finishing is whats been the problem.

Called it months ago. Hall wont get a 1st rounder, there you go, I was right. Sabres fans, your team stench far outweighs whatever pedigree a player can have. Enjoy more pain

Halls production has dropped and he has proven to be a locker room cancer. Buffalo is lucky that they got that return.

And I bet Adams is first in line with the biggest and longest contract offer on July 1st, because he learned nothing

The whole locker room cancer stuff is just made up rumors from fans to create drama because 99% of time they never is any drama.

Ryan O'Reilly would disagree. Buffalo killed his love of hockey. Buffalo's stench is far reaching

yep

in general this is how I see the trade

it does not look good for buffalo right now BUT... if hall continues to play for the Bruins the same way he played in Buffalo, his motivation does not improve, and he brings that toxic atmosphere into the bruins locker room got to think buffalo wins this just for the fact they got rid of him and got something out of it.

Analytics should be used to identify underutilized talent that can be projected to produce in a larger role. If the analytics say the player is good, and the one-ice results consistently say he isn't and doesn't finish scoring chances, the player isn't unlucky. He just sucks.

Dude it’s everywhere.

Countless articles.

I’ve got it straight from players he’s played with.

Give it a rest. Just because you don’t want it to be true does not mean it isn’t. You must be a liberal. Lol.

This is exactly why boomer GMs keep trying for players that are terrible analytically because usually they are BAD.

Analytics are literally based on how well the players play which suggest taylor hall is still very good.

Analytics, specifically public analytics, lack context. These RAMP or other types of charts that show the standard deviation of xGF% or whatever cannot and do not qualify any of the data being used. Until public analytics can accurately provide sufficient context to the stats or improve in tracking so that the context is quantified, they should really be taken with a grain of salt. Just because someone has a good rel CF% doesn't mean they are actually good at play driving. Just because a defensemen has a low controlled entries for / 60 doesn't mean they aren't effective on the forecheck or can't generate offense. The quantifiable is worthless without it being qualified.

But in this case u are wrong i've watched taylor hall all season long hes generated plenty of chances why is it his fault his linemates can't bury them?

He was playing with Victor Olofsson who analytically is terrible which suggest the lack of finishing.

the Leafs don't need offense - they've got that in spades. fligs fills in other holes and is the kind of play your heart out defensive guy who isn't afraid to drop gloves that the Leafs do need if they want to make a deep run.

Buffalo didn’t pay to acquire Hall, that’s a free 2nd and a decent player in Bjork

Good deal for both sides

Bjork has been absolutely awful this year.

I’m gonna go with the fact that he’s a “superstar” and is now on his 5th team. Pretty sure if he wasn’t a locker room cancer 1-4 wouldn’t have gotten rid of him.

That’s a pretty bad take. All of those teams except edmonton were bad and were looking for futures.
