I'm a big fan of the Merril acquisition. He's always been solid in his own end. Wish he brought a little offense, but he's definitely an upgrade over Mete and Kulak, imo.

Kulak was the one I was referring as the 2nd best dman. He's looked very good so far this season. Merrill is still nice from the little we've seen.

Haha. I was basing what I said based on Kulak getting scratched and his numbers. Which 2 would you take out in order to put Kulak back in the lineup and have 6 D instead of 7?

Chiarot and Gustafsson lol. The former stinks and the latter is useless at 5v5

That’s only if you use TV channels. If you don’t care about other sports (like me), NHL Live is much cheaper. The only problem being that the only games you can’t watch live are regionally broadcast games of your local team. (So for $180 I get every NHL game but around 60% of Leafs’ games)

It’s way better than any other option for the NHL in Canada, unless you cheer for your local team, in which case it doesn’t help much.

That’s crazy. And since then, they’re 13-5-2, and tied in 4th in the league in points percentage at .700.

I don't want everyone to be like: He'S tOnY dEaNgELo. But he's getting a lot of hate he doesn't deserve, Georgiev hit him. In my opinion, he has a value still, I'm not saying the Leafs are interested, because he's an offensive defenseman, but I think teams will be interested after his contract (THAT HE WORKED FOR!) gets terminated. Rangers are the losers here.

He fully deserves the hate he gets, there’s a reason he got hit, he is a cancer in the locker room and that negate the talent he has. Imo he will either sign a 1 year league min to prove that’s behind him or go to Europe

Watched my first Hockey game in around 3 months last night! Lol

But I have to say watching the sabres was very energizing because of the energy of the young kids on the team! I think the sabres have one of the top 10 youth cores in the league maybe top 5 in terms of under 25. Really fun to watch and can't wait till next year. That being said if our coach plays old players over the kids I will be smocked

Beauty of a hit by sandin. Dont get me wrong, I dont like to see anyone get hurt (wheeler), but good on sandin for standing his own against men.
