Knowing our coach, he’d play Comeau with Heiskanen and probably also make him QB our 1st PP unit. He’d probably be more useful as a d-man than a forward honestly.

Something like:

Oleksiak Heiskanen
Lindell Klingberg
Vatanen Comeau
Sekera (or Hanley)

This I’d pay to watch

Seems legit honestly.

I think Sakic deserves a ton of credit. People think of that offense when they think of the Ads, but that defense is pretty elite. Sakic basically built it from scratch which is almost impossible to do. And they're only gonna get better in the coming years b/c they're all young. Amazing. The Ads Cup window is open for the next decade!!!

I agree. The avs are in the best long term position in the nhl (probably the best in the short term too), and Sakic was the man who assembled most of the roster.

That’s only if you use TV channels. If you don’t care about other sports (like me), NHL Live is much cheaper. The only problem being that the only games you can’t watch live are regionally broadcast games of your local team. (So for $180 I get every NHL game but around 60% of Leafs’ games)

It’s way better than any other option for the NHL in Canada, unless you cheer for your local team, in which case it doesn’t help much.

I have nhl live too. Normally not watching my "home team" (the oilers, flames and jets) wouldn't be that bad, accept when the majority of your games are blacked out because that's half of Toronto's opposition this year lol. In that way I'll be happy to see the divisions go back to normal.

Oof, that sucks. Luckily for me only 3 habs games were blacked out, and they all happened to be within a month, so I only had to pay for 1 month of TSN.

At least all hockey night in Canada games are on it, so that also includes playoffs, but still annoying for sure.

As predicted the West has a strong top 3 though maybe not the teams you expected to be in said top 3 as the Wild, Avs and Vegas have all already clinched also proving it’s maybe the easiest division since no other team has clinched IN THE LEAGUE

After reading most of the discussion about how NHL broadcasts and stuff I’ve come to and the conclusion it is a complete mess. How in the world does it make sense to block out your own local team’s games

I wish they hadn’t switched the Wild and the Stars last second, if they did we would probably be where Minnesota are.

BuT tHe NoRtH iS tHe WeAkEsT DiViSiOn!!!

Just kidding, it's very hard to know, but based on the fact 3 team in the west have clinched, it does make you think it might be the weakest division.

The block them out because why watch your local team on TV when you can watch them in the Arena, in other words to keep people attending the games in high numbers

It’s the one with the biggest difference in teams for sure there’s 3 contenders and then 5 from okay to bad teams, the Metro is definitely the hardest and the Central probably the 2nd hardest.

If your definition of weakest division means: Which division is it easiest to qualify for the playoffs, then the West is the easiest. But, when you have arguably the 2 best teams in the entire league, one might arrive at a different conclusion. Personally, I think the East is the hardest in the sense that the Rangers may very well be the best team not to make the playoffs in the entire NHL. Put them in any other division and they're a virtual lock.

Pretty much

I'd still take Dallas over the Islanders if they were both 100% healthy. They're better offensively. Especially with Seguin. Goaltending is pretty comparable with Bishop healthy (a rare occurrence). I don't think any team has been more decimated by injuries than the Stars this season.

The division that's had two teams go on +10 game losing streaks is definitely the weakest.

Or the division that already has 3 teams clinched for the playoffs could also be the weakest.

Yes. The central and divisions are very top heavy. The East and North Divisions and more well rounded (although the east>north)
