All I’m going to say is that if Buffalo was offered a first, don’t you think they would of accepted it.

The reason foligno got a 1st was due to his experience and leadership qualities. Foligno actually tries and cares. He’s incredibly valuable to his team. Hall has no effort, looses battles on the boards, he even goes to the wrong side of the D-man when trying to engage in a board battle.

I don’t feel like I can blame this on Adams because this was really out of his control. Buyers market and Hall has one of the worst shooting % since 2013-14. Hall hasn’t looked impressive this season and he had a NMC.

I admit the return is very underwhelming but a lot of young guys are playing much better under Granato. Granato was Bjork’s coach in USNDP. So if Bjork can come in and produce like Thompson, Mitts, and Asplund are. I will be fine with this.

Hall wasn’t coming back, the only part that hurts is lazar

good thing u guys took him and not us apparently we were still in on him could u imagine (Folingo, Hall, Rittich being added to the leafs in 1 day) like people say Tampa manipulated cap space, this single handedly would have blew those notions away

Nah Hall will probably do fine in Boston confidence boost, not to mention analytics tell us he should rebound just fine.

I definitely blame him that was horrendous. Bjork is not good and you loose Lazar he was signed for 800k for another year.
Literally the perfect bottom 6 player. Good defense can chip in at offense good at the faceoff circle. Can PK.
Just take a 2nd. Take a cap dump as well idc. But you lost on Lazar who developed in this dumpster fire of a team.

I honestly saw that trace and waited for 30 minutes to be oh yeah they also added..... and nothing.

I mused that the only team that may have an interest in Hall would be the Bruins.
I also thought that since Palmieri and Foligno both got 1st round picks, the Bruins were now bidding against themselves and the Sabres would only receive a 2nd.
I was not surprised, just upset that that was the only return.
But when I saw we had to take on Bjork and give up Lazar, I lost it.
I completely agree with you Lazar was a great pick up last year and he had a year remaining on his contract.
Since Hall was taken out of the line up nearly a week ago, I had to presume a trade was close.
I think Adams over played his hand and lost.
