Only reason I did is bc the Blues have scratched Dunn before, and I heard they have interest in Lehkonen. The trade makes too much sense to not happen right now

Thanks. IMO, Rakell is at the highest value he may ever be at for a bit, so trading him today would be the best move

Blues won't trade Dunn for Lehkonen right now. Dunn has played very well since they scratched him (which was 2 months ago) and he has stepped up. I like Lehkonen and think he's a solid player, perfect for the Blues. That stated, Blues are going to try and make a run so it doesn't make sense to trade one of their pieces now during a run. Not to mention, Lehkonen will have to be protected in the expansion because I can see them wanting to keep him. I see a deal soon, just not now.

Dunn+Blais for Lehkonen, Brook, 2nd (or 2021 first depending where Montreal lands in the playoffs).

As Montreal, I have 0 interest in bringing in Blais and sending out Brook. What if MTL added one of their many picks in the trade?

Blues need RHD prospects more than they even need Lehkonen at this point. MTL fans (and I think Bergevin) seem to have interest in Blais as well. In that case, we're looking at a 1st rounder involved somewhere. Dunn's value has gone way up in the last month.
