I agree. This is a very VERY ****ty move. Tf do we need another winger for? We need another 3C. Benning better acquire another 3C before the end of the day. Terrible move. I had Gaudette protected in the expansion draft this year.

It's actually not a terrible move. Gaudette was moved because he's a pending RFA that will be in need of a new contract this year and negotiations didn't go smooth last year. Vancouver wouldn't be able to re-sign him since they'll be tight on cap so he had to be moved. He hasn't performed well at all this season so the market for him wouldn't have been high. So they moved him for something before losing him for nothing. It's not a great move but it's not a terrible one either.
