Terrible trade value from STL perspective. Not even close. You're looking at Lehkonen and Brook for this to take place.

Also, thank the Lord of Hockey that Mete got claimed because now Blues fans will no longer be subjected to ridiculous Mete for Dunn trades.

No they aren't. I get that Harris is younger and hasn't played a minute of pro, but I'm sure Harris is regarded higher than Brook.

The consensus of scouting experts surely has Harris sliiiightly ahead of Brook, but not only is Brook an RD (the Blues have 312 LDs already), he fits the Blues mold much more.

The deal isn't close. You have to take into account team needs, not just value when trading players. This gives you zero credibility when evaluating a trade. Nothing in the above trade provides the Blues with things they need. They need RHD prospect and solid bottom 6 two-way player. Hence, Lehkonen and Brook. Provides the Blues with what they need. Get that?
