If you need a 3rd pairing RHD you can have Ristolainen or Miller cheaper than that.

If the Avs are gonna target a defenseman with term and screw up their expansion draft plans, then just go Ekholm. I'd rather go big and get hit with the cost twice. Manson is a half-measure in that regard.

Yeah you could, but if your Sakic right now I’d choose the better player that yes is more expensive but he is the better player and I think Sakic would rather that.
