He is an underrated defensive defensemen who can log a ton of minutes, which will be needed for the playoffs.

After coming to New Jersey from Winnipeg, he hasn't regressed much and has a good cap hit.

The only problem I have with this trade is Kulikov’s passport/immigration status. Other than that, I think EDM wins.

I'm pretty sure that gets resolved before the playoffs start, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Jones, Bear, and Lagesson are all shaky right now I wouldnt be surprised to see Russell-Koekkoek as 3rd pairing.
