I really like Laughton so the AAV ain’t bad at all but the term is the worry. I like him enough to think it could become a great deal.

Its a brandon tanev deal but its cheaper and shorter and laughts is better

I think this is a good deal for both the team and the player

Yeah I just mean if he goes to a bottom 6 guy. I like him and see him as a middle 6 guy with the ability to impact larger than his role. Just term is always a worry for long term depth players. But as I said, I like him and think it’s obviously good for him - and it ain’t bad for Philly

He turns 27 so the deal would end when he's 32 I feel like he'll still be a solid player at that time

He can play on any line as rare as that is

5 years is a lot for a 3rd liner. At least the $ isn't really bad if he keeps producing.
